IMFD+ Features

  • IMFD+ detects faults that are
    - Broken rotor bar
    - Broken end ring
    - Eccentricity fault (static, dynamic and mixed)
    - Broken bearing fault (inner raceway, outer raceway and rolling element)
    - Inter-turn short-circuit fault
  • IMFD+ is predictive; it detects various faults at early stage when they are incipient in nature and alerts the user
  • Can detect fault when motor is running at a very low load thereby reducing the chance of complete burn-out of faulty motor
  • Algorithm works with only a single-phase armature current signal
  • The system estimates the motor speed and supply frequency from single current signal
  • Non-intrusive technology that runs on cloud platform or on-premise
  • Motor conditions can be monitored on desktop or mobile phone from anywhere on real-time basis
